Bump steer is a problem that people are facing every day out in the desert. The tow in, or tow out of the tires can cause you your car to jump out to either side, depending on which tire hits the ground first. If you are going over bumps and finding yourself pulling all over the place, you’ll know you have a bump steer problem. It causes strain on your car in ways that wear down parts faster as well, including the power steering. Now we aren’t here to tell you that getting our electric power steering unit will absolutely fix this scenario, because that doesn’t really make much sense. What it CAN do is band aid the problem a little bit and also our kit can be a great replacement for the power steering that might have been damaged while you were riding with a bad bump steer. The electric power steering acts as a buffer to help make it easier to steer so you aren’t wearing out your arms dealing with the car bouncing all over the place. We highly recommend getting to a garage to get the work done right to get your bump steer down as low as possible, ideally to 0, so you don’t do more damage to your car.
