“I just put his X3 kit on and it’s far better than any power steering I have driven in a SXS. It’s also adjustable. 350-700 watts of steering. Nothing on the market compares to it. I run the X3 at 375 tp 4–w om 3WD then flip the halo switch and turn it up to 700w. Then back down once in 3WD…Give that guy a call. Tell him what you got and see if his universal kit will work for you.”
“I am in the process of installing electric power assist steering ( EPAS ) on my 49 Jeepster. I want to recommend a dealer that has gone well above and beyond while helping me through the install.
If you go to his web site, you will find answers to just about all that you have questions about, just about all parts that you would need, and technical help about installing the systems. Right now he has kits for dozens of vehicles, and is expanding daily.
He stated that he does not mind helping the cheapskate like me who bought their unit from a scrap yard, most company’s will not even talk to you if you do not buy the whole system from them. I bought a unit that had NO plugs or wire pigtails, he sold me the parts needed to get it wired and went as far as machining a part that I needed for my Jeepster.”

“I must mention that the customer service was awesome. I contacted Ken on Monday morning and told him what was going on, and Monday afternoon he was at MY house to take a look at it and also fixed the problem. Now I don’t know anybody that has customer service like that. The problem was my fault, I crimped the wires together and should of soldered them. Ken found a way to get on his back and solder and heat shrink every wire. I am a happy dunner!”
